    Our Mission:

    The Mission of SC SHRM is to enhance and lead the human resource profession in South Carolina.  We support the success of:

    • HR professionals by providing learning opportunities on HR subject matter as well as information on SHRM initiatives, certification, and volunteer opportunities

    • Our chapters by providing knowledge, experience, and encouragement and by serving as a liaison between the local chapters and SHRM

    • Our community, employers, and legislators by monitoring HR issues in legislation and providing knowledge, advocacy, and outreach

    SC SHRM’s vision is to be THE resource for HR knowledge in South Carolina.   We strive to be recognized for providing timely information on HR issues affecting the management of employees in organizations of all sizes, for providing HR experts on legislative topics related to HR, and for providing support to the HR professionals and the SHRM chapters of South Carolina.
